Love Those Supplies...

I have to say I love having scrappy supplies on hand for last minute projects like these. My youngest was 'Star of the Day' at school and needed to bring with her a poster full of photos. I love that part of her day was telling her story. Even at 7 years old, she has built an amazing life full of family, friends, pets and experiences. I tried to print off photos that also showed off her little personality...although it really isn't 'little'. This girl makes me laugh everyday. And adds a gray hair to my head everyday. But I wouldn't change her for the world. She is awesome. And it was fun putting together a collage of photos showing just how much.

reminiscing...

i have been in the mood lately to scrapbook mallory's baby photos. technically, i have already done so...i did an album of her first year where i did a double spread for each month, the design of each month the same. it is nice to have her first year documented, but i missed out on doing those fun 'individual' pages of her. so, i grabbed january's scarlet lime kit (with some additions) and did some layouts of mallory's early months.

wasn't she just a precious little baby? thanks for looking.

always dance...

mallory loves to dance. she does it everywhere. she especially loves ballet, specifically 'barbie movie' ballet (swan lake, pegasus, etc...). at home, she dresses up in her princess gowns and twirls away.

these pics were taken at the omaha zoo. we were walking along and then all of the sudden mally stops in place in the middle of the road and just starts dancing. love it. keep dancing, my girl.

Love this.

So while I HAD to scold her for coloring on the pillowcase (she has a hard time grasping that we only color on paper), I LOVE that Mallory did this. A little happy face (which is actually a little scary looking)...for me to lay my head on at night. A reminder of my sweet angel who likes to be naughty sometimes. Something I will be able to always keep as a reminder of how little and funny this girlie was...
